Fair Trade Month (USA)

If you missed New Zealand’s Fair Trade fortnight (2-17th May 2009) then don’t worry, you can still do your bit by jumping on the Fair Trade (USA) Month which runs through October with the catchy slogan:

“31 Days, 31 Ways. Make a Difference.”

It’s organised by fairtrademonth.org and their two main goals (to help spread the word) is to gain 3,100 followers on and 31,000 fans on Facebook, and if you grab the widget you’ll be able to display (on your own blog) a Fair Trade fact and consumer action that you can do to help the overall cause of eduction, greater understanding and the power (and voice) we each have when we purchase a fair trade certified product.
